Where It All Started

Back in 2016, I decided to do a big chop and go completely natural for the first time ever. I had no idea what I was doing but I was determined to take care of my hair and see what it could really do. With patience, consistency, and lots of research, my hair flourished. It was thick, full, and healthy, and I finally felt confident in my natural texture.

Fast forward to 2022, I made the mistake of texturizing and dyeing my hair in the same day (yes, same day!). That was the start of my hair’s downfall. My hair started breaking, thinning, and losing all its strength. I didn’t want to do another big chop, so I tried to transition back to natural in 2023. But something was different this time. My hair wasn’t responding the way it used to and honestly, neither was I.

I wasn’t taking care of my hair like before. That’s when I realized: healthy hair doesn’t just happen so I went back to the basics and started formulating my own products, using the same principles that helped my hair thrive the first time around. Through research, trial, and plenty of learning, Nehi Natural was born, a brand built to help women like me restore their hair naturally, without harsh chemicals or empty promises.
